The "Ice Hotel" will open from January 8th to February 29th in the ice town "Ice Village", which is operated only in winter by "Hoshino Resort Tomamu" in Yufutsu-gun, Hokkaido.


The ice hotel is a "frigid experience" hotel that takes advantage of the coldness of the Tomamu area, which can reach 20 to 30 degrees Celsius below freezing. After enjoying meals and activities in the Ice Village, you can stay in a fantastic private space made of ice, including floors, ceilings, and furniture.

The room temperature of the hotel is about 5-8 degrees below freezing. There is a sleeping bag on the bed for cold regions below freezing, and it seems that you can sleep comfortably until morning.

The experience of staying at an ice hotel is only available to guests of the hotels "The Tower" and "Risonare Tomamu" in the resort. Staying time is from 23:00 to 8:00 the next day. The accommodation fee is 20,000 yen (tax included) per person, and up to 3 people per group per day (elementary school students and above).
