Mochi always comes into play from the year-end and New Year holidays, but it seems that we will stock up on this from now on ...! Introducing the exquisite anko mochi found at KALDI Coffee Farm.
The "baked and eaten anko mochi" sold by the store's "Moheji" brand is a thin mochi made by wrapping red bean paste from Hokkaido in a mochi with a pestle. The price at the time of purchase was 267 yen (tax included) with 4 pieces.
It is hard to eat as it is, so please bake it on a hot plate, frying pan, or toaster oven. When it looks delicious, it's ready to eat.
When baked, the thickness increases a little, the surface tears crisply, and the soft mochi and An Ogura pop out. The perfect balance between the sweetness of glutinous rice that spreads as you chew and the sweetness of An Ogura. When I noticed, two of them had disappeared. I bought it with the intention of filling my stomach a little, but I regret that I should have bought another bag if it was so delicious.
By the way, it is also sold by the manufacturer Niigata Usagimochi, so it may be available at supermarkets other than KALDI. Anyway, if you see it, definitely give it a try!
