"Nostalgic Showa / Heisei Anime Cell Painting Exhibition" is held at the 11th floor exhibition hall of the main building of Odakyu Department Store Shinjuku. Cels of animation works representing Showa and Heisei will be exhibited and sold, and handwritten manga manuscripts by popular manga artists will be exhibited and sold. It will be held from July 22nd to August 4th.

The "Nostalgic Showa / Heisei Anime Cel Exhibition" is a project to display about 80 handwritten manuscripts of anime cels and manga that were popular in the Showa / Heisei era. It is said that it will provide a place to experience the subculture of Japan and share the "impression" of those days so that not only adults but also children can enjoy and appreciate it. At the venue, there will be Studio Ghibli (My Neighbor Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, etc.), Leiji Matsumoto's work, popular anime cels such as "Lupin III" and "ONE PIECE", as well as Shigeru Mizuki and Fujio Akatsuka. There will be a handwritten manga manuscript corner, and each will be exhibited and sold.
