"Clip type masking tape cutter" is a tape cutter that integrates a clip and a resin blade. It can be used for masking tape with a tape width of 30 mm or less and a thickness from the outer diameter to the inner diameter of 11 mm or less.


To use it, just open the clip, pinch it between the tapes, hold the clip firmly with one hand, and twist the tape.




The clip has two types of blades on both ends, and can be used properly with "straight" and "jagged" cuts. The straight one has some irregularities compared to ordinary scissors, but the cut is quite straight. The jagged blade is a little worrisome when cutting, but the cut edge with a sense of craft is cute.

How is it different from "Calcut"?

By the way, this product looks exactly like the clip-type masking tape cutter sold by Kokuyo's "Calcut" series. Comparing the usability, I got the impression that Calcut, which has a special metal blade and high clipping force, is still sharper. However, I wonder if Daiso is almost inferior in terms of cuts.
