I also use stamps, but depending on the quality of the paper, it may show through, so I'm a little worried. So, when I was looking for a household shredder, I found an item with very high cost performance, so I will introduce it.


This is a handy shredder from the 100-yen shop "Can Do". It is a 500 yen tax-excluded product that has recently begun to be sold at the store.


With a width of about 17 cm and a height of about 15 cm, it is easy to place on a shelf or desk. The bottom of the dust box has a non-slip feature, and the simple white color that easily fits into the interior is also a point.


The shredder is a manual type that cuts by turning the handle. The width of the slot is 126 mm, so for A4 paper, fold it in half vertically before inserting it into the slot.



The first rotation that the blade catches the paper is a little resistant, but after that the handle can be swiftly turned and it is very smooth. I was able to cut it in about 10 seconds.



The width of the cut paper is about 3.5 mm, which is thicker than that for commercial use. If you are interested, it may be safer to fill it with a stamp in advance.


In that case, I also challenge various personal information documents that I usually get at home. When I verified it with DM postcards, courier slips, ATM usage details, and pay slips, I was able to cut them all without any problems.




The dust box can be removed by simply lifting the shredder device, making it easy to dispose of garbage.


Some papers with adhesive stickers, film-coated papers, and papers with stapler needles cannot be used, so check the precautions in advance and share them with your family. By the way, if you put the blue envelope at the beginning as it is, it will be almost clogged, so it is recommended to open it and put it in.
