"Ginger cookie" is a traditional confectionery that has been loved all over the world, especially in Europe. You often see it as a tree decoration at Christmas. This time, I will introduce a recipe using a hot cake mix that does not require weighing powder so that you can easily make it at home.
Material (for 2 top plates)
Hot cake mix 200g (7.05oz)
Butter 60g (2.12oz)
1/2 to 1 egg 4 tablespoons sugar
Grated ginger (tube is also acceptable) 1/2 teaspoon ~ Cinnamon powder if you like 1 teaspoon ~ If you like * Even if you add cloves or nutmeg
How to make
1. 1. Put the panque mix and small diced butter in a bowl and mix by crushing the butter with your fingertips.2. When the whole is lumpy, add sugar, cinnamon powder and grated ginger, mix further, add the melted egg, knead well until it comes together, wrap it and let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3. 3. Place the dough on a table sprinkled with strong flour (or soft flour), stretch it thinly, and cut it out. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with an oven sheet, bake them in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 12 minutes, and place them on a net.
A sable-style cookie with a crispy texture and rich butter. The aroma of ginger and spices gives a nice accent, and you can eat more and more without getting tired!
You can do a lot with the amount of the recipe, so make a hole with chopsticks when cutting the mold and decorate it with icing or chocolate pen to make a tree ornament. It's a delicious recipe without ginger and spices, so please try Christmas!
