IKEA Japan announces the opening of IKEA Shinjuku on May 1, 2021. A pre-opening exclusively for IKEA Family members is also planned.

IKEA Shinjuku is the third city shop (city center type store) following IKEA Harajuku , which opened in June 2020, and IKEA Shibuya, which opened in November. Convenient location 5 minutes from Shinjuku station. We aim to meet customers with diverse needs and provide solutions that make living in a limited space in the city more comfortable and sustainable. We also plan to offer takeaway Swedish food. In order to enjoy shopping with peace of mind, it is also stated that we will operate after thoroughly implementing preventive measures against infection with the new coronavirus in accordance with government guidelines.

A pre-opening exclusively for IKEA Family members will be held on April 29th. Advance reservations are required and will be accepted on the official website from 12:00 on April 5th to 23:59 on April 26th. Reception will end as soon as the capacity is reached on a first-come, first-served basis.
