A new penguins-themed guest room "Penguins Room" has been created at the urban tourist hotel "Hoshino Resorts OMO7 Asahikawa". Reservations are accepted from April 6th.

"OMO7 Asahikawa" regards the surrounding area as one resort and prepares a mechanism to enjoy the city of Asahikawa. Asahiyama Zoo is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. In November 2020, we set up a "polar bear room" so that you can prepare before going to the "Asahiyama Zoo Course" that is held every night, and you can feel the Asahiyama Zoo even while you are in the guest room. In response to the favorable reception from customers that "the tension rises" and "healed", the second penguins-themed "Penguins Room" has been created.

In the "Penguins Room", we have prepared penguins items that you can enjoy like a game and signs that were actually used at Asahiyama Zoo. It is said to be a guest room where you can stay as if you were living with a penguins.

Penguins welcome you when you enter the guest room. A penguin is lying on the bed, and when you look up at the ceiling, you can see the penguins as if they were flying. The cute signboards throughout Asahiyama Zoo are all hand-painted by the zookeepers and are rewritten every spring. In the penguins room, with the cooperation of Asahiyama Zoo, a borrowed hand-painted sign is displayed in the guest room. The signboard is written from the perspective unique to the keeper, and you can learn about the ecology and trivia of animals, and you will be looking forward to going to Asahiyama Zoo.
