Yojiya's main store moved from the current Shinkyogoku store to the Gion store in Gion Shijo on August 1. The new main store will be reborn as "Yojiya Gion Main Store", and an experience corner where you can try out products will be newly established on the 2nd floor. Limited product sales and campaigns are also held to commemorate the reopening.

"Yojiya Gion Main Store" reopened

Founded in 1904, it opened its main store in Shinkyogoku (current location) in 1915, and opened the second store, Yojiya Gion Store, in 1967. As the largest store, the Gion store handles a wide range of products such as cosmetics and miscellaneous goods, and has continued to operate as a core store. The Gion store will be reopened as "Yojiya Gion Main Store" after renovation. Together with Yojiya Cafe Gion, which is located 30 meters west, it will be operated as a store where you can feel all the charm of Yojiya.

An experience corner has been newly established on the 2nd floor so that you can feel the appeal of the product. You can try body care products such as soap and basic cosmetics at the two hand-washing areas. Equipped with 5 mirror stands, you can try make-up items and experience make-up by Yojiya and staff (currently refraining from doing so).


Limited quantity products will be available from August 1st to commemorate the reopening of the "Gion Main Store". Limited design of oil blotting paper, which is a signboard product, has appeared. The design depicts makeup miscellaneous goods, make-up items, cafe sweets, etc., and paper handbags at the time of product purchase are also prepared with the same design. In addition, a special set in a limited tote bag and an eco bag that looks like oil blotting paper when folded are also sold in limited quantities. The store where the product is sold depends on the product.





A gift for the renewal opening commemorative campaign will also be held. The campaign period is from August 1, 2021. Original gifts (not for sale) will be given to those who purchase the product price of 3,500 yen or more (tax included) on a first-come, first-served basis.
