In commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the original "Chibi Maruko-chan", Nippon Animation announces new goods using treasured art. It will be released in advance at Kiddy Land Harajuku store from November 26th.

"Chibi Maruko-chan" is set in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture (currently Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka Prefecture). A heartwarming work that depicts everyday life in a fun, interesting, and sometimes painful way. Momoko Sakura started serializing in "Ribon" (Shueisha) in 1986. In 2021, we celebrated the 35th anniversary of the serialization.

Pre-sale of new goods will be held at Kiddy Land Harajuku Store, Kiddy Land Osaka Umeda Store, Kiddy Land Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Store, Yokohama Landmark Plaza for a limited time, "Chibi Maruko-chan Original 35th Anniversary Christmas Pop-up Shop", 5 places in Chibi Maruko-chan Land. Approximately 70 new goods will be sold in advance using illustrations drawn by Momoko Sakura for goods at the beginning of the "Chibi Maruko-chan" series.


Novelty planning is also carried out at each store. Customers who purchase "Chibi Maruko-chan" or "Cojicoji" related products for 1,000 yen (tax included) or more will receive a random original wrapping bag on a first-come, first-served basis. At the "Maruko and Kojikoji Store" in Kiddy Land Harajuku, an original photo spot limited to the store will be set up.
