Hot cake with mochi
Add cutted rice cake to the ingredients of basic pancakes. Cut into small pieces, dissolve in milk, mix in the dough and bake.

Rice cooked with rice cake
Add cutted rice cake to the ingredients of the cooked rice. The texture is as chewy as using glutinous rice. It is easy to use commercially available cooked rice base or red bean azuki beans.

White sauce with mochi
Put chopped rice cake, milk and consomme in a bowl and heat in a microwave. Add salt, pepper and butter to taste, and you'll have a smooth white sauce. When you put it in your mouth, it melts quickly and the flavor of rice spreads softly.
