This is an enamel storage container with a valve that prevents liquids and odors from leaking out, sold by MUJI. Made of enamel, it is resistant to odor transfer and comes with a lid that can be sealed tightly for storage. They are oven and open flame safe (the lid needs to be removed), and are available in various sizes.
I purchased the medium size (630ml (21.3us fl oz), 890 yen including tax) and found it to be very useful for making sweets. Here are a few recipes I made with it.

80 ml fresh cream (35% milk fat)
2 tsp lemon juice
12g (0.42oz) flour
How to make baked cheesecake1. Heat cream cheese in microwave oven (500-600W) for 30 seconds and knead with a whisk. Add granulated sugar and mix together.
Gradually add the beaten eggs and mix until combined. Add the cream and mix until just combined.
Add the lemon juice and stir to combine. Sift in the flour and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into an enamel storage container (capacity: 630 ml) lined with a cookie sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 30 minutes. Bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 degrees C. Stick a bamboo skewer in the center of the dough and see if it sticks.
It is made with basic ingredients, so it has a royal taste with a sense of security. The richness of the cream cheese and fresh cream is tempered by the freshness of the lemon juice. The sweetness is moderate, so honey or jam is also recommended.
