Procedure
1. Wash sweet potato well and cut off both ends a little. 2. Cut into round slices (2.5 cm to 3 cm thick) with the skin still on, and soak in water for about 10 minutes. 2.
2. Drain the sweet potatoes and put them in a rice cooker with 100 ml of water.
3. Close the rice cooker, select the "cooking" menu, set the cooking time to 10 minutes, and press the "cook" key.
After the rice has finished cooking, keep the rice warm and remove it after 60 minutes.
The sweet potatoes that have been cooked over a long period of time have a crunchy texture. Even without added sugar, the sweetness stands out, and a little sprinkle of salt is all that is needed to make them crispy and crunchy.
It can be eaten as is, of course, but also with honey or cinnamon powder, used to make sweet potatoes, or combined with milk to make a potage. It is also useful in a variety of arrangements, so feel free to try it out.
