Relax with sencha and hojicha from the Disney Store and the long-established tea shop "Kamibayashi Harumatsu Honten," Japanese-style tea utensils.

Walt Disney Japan has introduced "Japanese" themed foods and items. The items are available at Disney Flagship Tokyo, Disney Store stores, and the official online store "shopDisney" from March 29.

Disney Store Original items with Japanese taste

The lineup includes two types of tea bags for brewing tea, sencha and hojicha, jointly planned for the first time with the long-established tea shop "Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten," which has been spinning a 450-year history. The richly expressive Mickey Mouse, the cute and soothing colors of the Japanese-style patterned patterns, and the taste of the 450-year-old Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten tea brewery's specialties combine to create a perfect item for relaxing time at home.

In addition, many other Disney Store original items with a Japanese taste are also available. These include food items such as monaka chazuke (rice with green tea) featuring Flander from "The Little Mermaid," and Japanese tableware featuring Mickey Mouse and Baymax, all elegantly designed with subtle Disney character artwork.

Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten

Founded in the Eiroku era (around 1560), this long-established tea shop in Uji spans 450 years of history. The Uebayashi family was valued by Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, and others, and in the Edo period (1603-1867) was ordered to be the tea master in charge of the tea ceremony.
