The ink is printed with an illustration of a flower associated with the color of the ink on the shaft. The motifs of the ink colors are: black is viburnum, red is anemone, blue is hydrangea, orange is dandelion, and blue-black is wasrenagusa.

The illustrations are casually cute designs that go well with the simple shaft. The print is in colors such as gray and white, which are not too assertive, to maintain the atmosphere of "uni-ball one" and enhance the design.


The refills for the uni-ball one were available in black, red, and blue, but now two colors that have long been popular, orange and blue-black, have been added to the lineup.
