Iris Ohyama will release the CHEF DRUM automatic stir-fry cooker sequentially from the end of September, mainly at electronics retail stores nationwide and on the Internet.

The main unit can be tilted in three positions (0°, 30°, and 50°), and the inner pot automatically rotates to reproduce the shaking and stirring of a pot during cooking. By simply putting in the ingredients and pressing a button, the cooker automatically prepares delicious dishes such as stir-fried dishes, deep-fried dishes using oil, and time-consuming simmered dishes, all of which are difficult to control the heat level and heat distribution. Because it cooks while stirring the ingredients, it does not burn the food, and deep-fried food can be fried with a small amount of oil.



The cooker supports nine cooking methods: fry, deep-fry, stew, bake, low-temperature cooking (*1), cooking without water, boil, ferment, and slow cooking. 108 automatic menus are provided. Recipes for the automatic menus can be easily checked by reading the included recipe book or by scanning the two-dimensional barcode on the unit with a smartphone.


The inner pot is coated with a fluoroplastic coating of artificial diamond particles, which prevents food and dirt from sticking to the pot and makes it easy to clean. The cooker can also be used for cooking on a scheduled basis (*2), keeping food warm (*3), and reheating, so that food can be prepared in the morning and eaten as soon as you get home, or freshly prepared food can be enjoyed by family members who eat at different times of the day.


1: Because low-temperature cooking cannot be sterilized by high temperatures, there is a risk of food poisoning if the cooking method is incorrect. Please follow the precautions described in the instruction manual when cooking.

3: The maximum warming time is 9 hours.
Fried food cannot be deep-fried in manual mode.
