Aiming to provide products that support the basics of daily life, MUJI 500 is a new type of store that focuses on daily necessities and consumables priced at 500 yen or less. Approximately 70% of the products sold at the store are daily necessities and consumables priced at 500 yen or less. Specifically, these products include various detergents, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, paper products such as toilet paper and kitchen paper, toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, skincare products such as lotion and milky lotion, shampoo and conditioner, underwear and socks, stationery such as notebooks and pens, and food such as soup and curry, Cookies and other snacks will be sold.

Compared to regular MUJI stores, the new stores will have a more compact sales floor area and will be located in areas where people can easily visit the stores on a daily basis, such as at train stations, in train stations, and in town. The first store, "MUJI 500 ATREVI Mitaka," will sell approximately 2,000 daily necessities priced at 500 yen or less, and approximately 3,000 items in total.
