Machine The "Adult Electric Fluffy Shaved Ice Machine" series is a stick-type shaved ice machine that has been on sale since 2013. At the time of its launch, shaved ice machines for home use had an image of being for families with children and were not easily accessible to adults.

The "Otona" logo used in this series and other products is intended to encourage adults to use shaved ice machines not only in summer, but all year round. The design and colors blend in with the kitchen even when left out, and it comes with ice recipes for use with alcohol and cooking. The new product is now available in a new color for the first time in three years.

The sleek design fits into a space of approximately 10 cm square. At 33 cm high, it is close to the height of a 750 ml wine bottle, making it a space-saving design that can be left out in the kitchen.


Because a typical shaved ice machine shaves ice by placing a container in the main body of the product, there are limitations on the width and height of the ice shaving container. Since this product is a stick type, the main unit can be lifted up and ice can be shaved without restrictions on the size of the container. Ice can be shaved on pasta plates and cups, allowing the shaved ice maker to be used not only for shaved ice, but also for food and drinks.


The height adjustment screw on the blade allows you to adjust the coarseness of the ice, allowing you to enjoy both crispy ice with texture and fluffy ice. The crispy texture is mainly suited for drinks, while the fluffy texture is suitable for cooking or enjoying as it is as shaved ice.


The shaved ice can be easily shaved by simply filling the machine with home-use loose ice and pressing the power button. It comes with recipes for not only shaved ice, but also frozen drinks, alcoholic beverages, cold pasta, and more.

The lineup includes two types of shaved ice machines: the Otona Fluffy Shaved Ice Machine with AC power cord and the Otona Fluffy Shaved Ice Machine Cordless, which uses four AA alkaline dry cell batteries. The "Otona no Fluffy Shaved Ice Machine" comes in a milky beige color that blends in with the kitchen, while the "Otona no Fluffy Shaved Ice Machine Cordless" comes in a pastel turquoise color that adds an accent to the kitchen.
