IKEA Japan has announced that IKEA Shibuya will reopen in early fall 2024. IKEA Shibuya has a total floor space of approximately 4,800 square meters from the first to seventh floors and is conveniently located a five-minute walk from Shibuya Station on the JR Line and a one-minute walk from Exit A3b on the first basement floor of Shibuya Station on the Tokyu Toyoko and Denentoshi Lines, Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, Ginza Line and Fukutoshin Line. It is located in a good location.

Purpose and Details of the Renewal

This renewal is aimed at transforming IKEA Shibuya into a more inspirational urban store with the vision of "more comfortable everyday life for more people" and providing a shopping experience similar to that of an IKEA store (large store). Shibuya aims to become a new community place by providing more convenient and enjoyable home furnishings, household goods and services that make living at home even more comfortable and sustainable.

Sales and Services during the

Renovation The ground floor sales floor, Swedish Food Market and Swedish Bistro, and the Swedish restaurant on the 7th floor will remain open during the renovation. IKEA Online Store purchases can be picked up at IKEA Shibuya during the renovation. However, you will need to use the nearby IKEA Harajuku, IKEA Shinjuku or other IKEA stores to return or exchange items.
