Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo to Host Dinner Event in Collaboration with L'Occitane

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) will hold a dinner event in collaboration with L'Occitane's popular fragrance "Osmanthus. The event will feature food and beverages that will express the world of the "Osmanthus" series' Japan-exclusive design supervised by Yoshihito Wajimaya.

Zenjin Wajimaya, which manufactures and sells Wajima lacquerware in Noto, where many traditional cultures have taken root, and L'Occitane, which stands for "passing on traditional techniques," have joined forces. The Noto Peninsula earthquake of 2024 caused damage, but the collaboration products were realized by looking forward strongly. The beautiful world of the kinmokusaisai (oriental osmanthus) blooming in the jet-black night and moonlight is expressed in the product, which is sold as a Japan-only design. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the reconstruction of the workshop.

The theme of the dinner event is "Noto Provence Eclectic". The menu features Wajima lacquerware and Noto's taste. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink with gold leaf while enjoying the "Fragrant, Tokyo Sea of Clouds" presentation on the terrace, which will be dressed in the fragrance of Kinmokusei and "Osmanthus". For the first course, a Nice-style salad and chauffeau-froid will be served in dishes inspired by a Japan-only design supervised by Yoshihito Wajima-ya. The dinner will end with homemade bread, tarte au pignon, and chocolate mousse covered with gold leaf.

Event Details and Prices

"Provence Dinner & 7 Sweets - Kinmokusei Scented Tokyo Cloud Sea and Long Autumn Evenings" will be held on selected dates from September 18 to November 8. The hours are from 19:00 to 21:30, with registration starting 30 minutes prior to the event. The venue is the banquet hall on the 1st floor of the banquet building, and the price is 15,000 yen (including tax and service charge) for web reservations only. A welcome petit gift including L'OCCITANE "Osmanthus" products will be presented as a special prize.
