The clients of "Cliff House" are Emma and David, who live in Australia. They asked Modscape to build a holiday villa on their land on the southwest coast of Victoria, Australia. The request also included a request for a villa that was a little unusual, if possible. Modscape responded to requests by designing a "Cliff House" that hangs under a cliff. It is said that the image of "a house clinging to a cliff" came from a barnacle clinging to a ship.
"Cliff House" clings to a cliff, so you can dig a horizontal hole in the wall of the cliff and enjoy the feeling of living in it. In order to emphasize the feeling of the side holes dug in the wall, the number of furniture installed in the "Cliff House" room is also kept to a minimum. It is said that this is the result of prioritizing the view of the sea over convenience.

When you get in a car and approach "Cliff House", the parking space pops into your eyes. At first glance, this parking space seems to be installed on the edge of a cliff, but it actually overhangs the sea. And this parking space is also the rooftop of "Cliff House".

If you go down the stairs from the rooftop with the parking lot to the 4th floor, you will find the living room and dining kitchen. If you go down the stairs and enter the 3rd floor, there is a bedroom, and the 2nd floor below it is a bathroom. In the bedroom, you can sleep while looking at the sea, and in the bathroom, you can take a bath while looking at the sea. The first floor on the bottom floor is the barbecue & spa area. Invite your friends to enjoy BBQ and hot baths.

Staying at the Cliff House looks scary, but the house itself is firmly anchored to the cliff with steel pins so it won't fall down the cliff. Isn't it rather scary to put it in the garage? If you make a mistake in steering, you may fall straight off the cliff. It's also scary to see the fall through the wide windows of the Cliff House.
