The shape of the umbrella, which has remained virtually unchanged throughout the history of mankind, may finally be revolutionized. The "air umbrella," currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, is a so-called "invisible umbrella" equipped with a mechanism that blows away precipitation with the force of air.

The main body of the umbrella is shaped like a stick with a fan at the end for blowing air. The handle contains a motor, a lithium battery, and a controller that adjusts the range of the airflow, while the tip on the opposite side of the fan has a master switch.

The company will offer a model for women (30 cm long, weighing 500 g), a model for men (50 cm long, weighing 800 g), and a unisex model (50 cm to 80 cm long, weighing 800 g), the length of which can be adjusted.

Of concern is the battery life, which is only 15 minutes for the women's model and 30 minutes for the men's model and the unisex model, which is not long enough for long-term use. However, the company plans to improve the battery in future development.

The goal is $10,000, but at the time of writing, over $80,000 has been raised. The company will develop and deliver the actual product to its investors.
