A standing desk that is said to have various merits such as "improving concentration" and "effective for back pain". In the United States, it is being introduced to offices. It seems that the number of people who want to use it in Japan is increasing, but the adoption is not progressing because it is a waste to throw away the desk that is currently in use.


James and Peter, who live in Sydney, Australia, have created a "Zest Desk" that solves this problem. Currently, the crowdfunding site kickstarter is looking for investors. We have already succeeded in raising more than three times the target amount and have decided to commercialize it.


"Zest Desk" is a product that is installed and used on a normal desk. When installed, it raises the desk height by up to 42.1 cm, making the desk usable as a standing desk. You don't have to dispose of your existing desk, so you can feel free to try out a standing desk.



"Zest Desk" is a four double desk. You can fold it in 30 seconds and carry it wherever you like. This makes it possible to use various desks as standing desks, such as homes and hotels on business trips, in addition to offices.




The size when used is 26.6 to 42.1 in height x 64 cm in width x 58 cm in depth, and weighs 5.5 kg. The load capacity is up to 20 kg.


To get it, you need to invest 337 AUD (AUD) on kickstarter. A separate shipping fee of 65 AUD is required to Japan. Shipment is scheduled for around April 2015.
