Pentel's " orenz" mechanical pencil, which is "incredibly unbreakable," will be released with a new body color and a 0.3mm lead diameter on January 13th.


Orenz is an ultra-fine mechanical pencil with a lead diameter of 0.2mm. Its unique system protects the lead by not letting the lead come out of the pen tip, and the smooth tip of the metal pipe gives it the same writing feel as a conventional mechanical pencil.


The new colors being released this time are red, blue, and green, bringing the lineup to a total of eight colors, including the five currently available colors.

A new model with a 0.3mm lead diameter has also been released, and it comes in five colors: black, yellow, pink, sky blue, and white.

The price for each is 500 yen (excluding tax).
