When I was sorting through my books and CDs at the end of the year, I came across a large number of vinyl records that I had collected at one point in my life. Many of you may have found it troublesome to listen to them on a dedicated player, and have fewer opportunities to appreciate them, but have somehow been unable to throw them out and keep them around.

The "Max LP," an all-in-one turntable equipped with a USB port and stereo speakers, has been sold by Numark Japan Corporation's audio brand "Ion Audio" since November of last year.

The product is a record player that can be used in a wide range of ways, such as with the built-in stereo speakers and headphones, or by connecting the RCA analog output terminals to a home stereo component. 33-1/3, 45, 78 rpm, and almost all other record formats are supported.

The player can also convert analog record audio to digital files by connecting a PC or iOS device to the USB port and using the included EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software or app. The software automatically splits files by track, and the converted files can be imported into portable music players or burned to CD.

In addition, it has a stereo minijack external input terminal, so external sources such as cassette decks can also be digitized.

The approximate size of the unit is W418 x H103 x D387 mm, weighs approximately 3.5 kg, and has a simple design with a dust cover and natural wood panels that will match the room interior and the warm analog playback sound.
