TORAFU ARCHITECTS, the creator of the "Wammock," explains the motivation behind its creation.
The Jack Russell Terrier is a dog that has been bred from a hunting dog to be a gentle pet. When we observed the favorite place of this dog, which has the qualities of a human partner, we found that he loves to be on his owner's clothes. The smell and the touch of the cloth make the dog feel very comfortable. So we came up with the idea of furniture in which the owner's clothes create a place for them."

In the "Wammock," the owner's clothes, which are placed over a wooden frame, act as a hammock. The clothes can be "changed," so the hammock can be prepared according to the season and weather.

The height of the "Wan-mock" is set at a distance that allows the owner sitting on the sofa to reach out and touch the dog naturally.

The "Wammock" kit is available for purchase on the Architechture for Dogs website for $235. The price is $235, and the production is limited to 500 pieces.
