Fukuoka Reno Base and DM Urban Development will open a cat share house "Q House" in Minami Ward, Fukuoka City, on April 1.


Q Residence is a concept-type share house where residents can enjoy living with three cats under the theme of "happy lives between cats and people. The one-story wooden house, which was renovated from a 36-year-old mansion, still retains its Japanese architectural style, including an open-air porch, a tea ceremony room, and a transom. Private rooms are available for residents. The management provides the necessary food and litter to keep the cats, as well as measures to prevent them from escaping. The management fee also includes a reserve for cat medical expenses and repairs for damage to fixtures.
