Developed by the art unit "zero by zero (oxoxo)," Kvel is a candlelight that emits light in response to music. It is shaped like a long, thin straw and is placed in a glass or candle holder of your choice.


When the light is off, it looks like a simple cylinder, but when switched on, the light flashes in time with the surrounding sound, and various colors and patterns can be enjoyed depending on the shape and color of the glass. The light can also be used in silence to create a natural glow.

Kvel has completed prototype development and was recently exhibited at the "Milano Salone" international furniture fair held in Italy. The company plans to raise funds through crowdfunding and start sales this fall.
