Two types of home-use ice shakers, "Authentic Shaved Ice Shop's Fluffy Ice Shaker" and "Adult Ice Shaker Cordless," are available from Doushisha starting in late April. Both models are open to the public.


The "Authentic Shaved Ice Shop's Fluffy Ice Shaving Machine" was developed with a focus on the recent shaved ice trend of "luxury" and "authenticity. The aluminum alloy body and the adjustable screw that allows the height of the blade to be adjusted according to the ice conditions, enable the shaver to produce more authentic "smooth" and "fluffy" ice than conventional manual ice-shaving machines. It is also equipped with an "ice removal button" that floats ice stuck to the aluminum blade from below and removes it.

It measures W36 x D21 x H45 cm, weighs 4.8 kg, and comes with two dedicated ice cups.

On the other hand, the "Cordless Ice Shaver for Adults" is an ice shaver that can be enjoyed at camps and outdoors, "anywhere you want to shave ice. It is a cordless type that runs on batteries, and can easily shave ice with a single push of a button when filled with household ice cubes (4 AA alkaline batteries are used).


The main unit measures W9.5 x D10 x H31.5 cm and weighs 760 g (not including batteries). Continuous use time is 1 minute. Comes with a stand and recipes for frozen drinks and alcoholic beverages that make use of ice.
