Mitsuaki Iwago's photo exhibition "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk" is being held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from May 20th. It will be held until June 1st.


This event is an exhibition version of the NHK BS Premium program "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk". It is composed of about 200 pieces, centered on the photographic works of cats that Mr. Iwago met all over the world.

Mr. Iwago says, "Cats have spread to the world with humans, so local cats resemble local humans." By seeing the pictures of cats in this photo exhibition, people and cultures from all over the world can be felt through the cats.


Photos were taken in a total of 15 regions, including Paris, Provence, Belgium, Norway, Sicily, Croatia, Aegean islands, Bulgaria, Istanbul, Marrakech, Keywest, Uruguay, Hawaii, Taiwan and Okinawa.

The photo exhibition will be held at Sogo Yokohama store and Daimaru Sapporo store in the future.
