Mitsuaki Iwago's photo exhibition "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk" is being held at the main Mitsukoshi store in Nihonbashi from May 20. The exhibition will run until June 1.


This event is an exhibition version of the NHK BS Premium program "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk. It consists of approximately 200 photographs of cats that Mr. Iwago has met around the world.

Mr. Iwago says, "Cats spread around the world along with humans. That is why the local cats resemble the local people. By looking at the photographs of cats in this exhibition, visitors can feel the people and cultures of various regions of the world through the cats.


Photographs were taken in Paris, Provence, Belgium, Norway, Sicily, Croatia, Aegean islands, Bulgaria, Istanbul, Marrakech, Key West, Uruguay, Hawaii, Taiwan, Okinawa, and 15 other regions.
