A long time ago, I knew someone who said, "I'm watching the washing machine spinning all the time because I don't trust it right now. I wanted to tsk tsk, "What's so unreliable about a fully automatic machine...," but there is a new product on the market that makes me think there may be a need for such a thing unexpectedly.

The new washing machine model to be released by Sharp on June 25 is a vertical washer/dryer with a flat "glass top" top panel that allows the user to see what is going on during washing.

Despite the various new technologies, the company advertised on its official Twitter page (@SHARP_JP) that for some reason the inside of the washer could be seen, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. The company's eyes are very different, after all!

Oh, there?
There are quite a few of you out there.

The product is said to feature a new "WIDE Mouse & LOW Body" input opening that makes it easy to insert and remove heavy blankets and large amounts of laundry, as well as a "Powerful Shower" that sprays powerful showers to quickly draw out detergent effects. It also features the "Plasmacluster Tank Clean" function, which emits anti-viral and sterilizing "Plasmacluster ions" inside the washing machine to inhibit the growth of mold bacteria.
