Fortune cookies are cookies that come out after a meal at a Chinese restaurant in the United States. When you break it, a piece of paper with a fortune written on it will come out.

"Ground Rice Cracker" in "Dagashiya Nyanko ga Kakurenbo! Karakara Senbei and Karintou" is a rice cracker that looks a bit like the fortune cookie. There is a small cat inside, not a fortune teller.


"Ground Rice Cracker" is a local sweet from Yamagata. There are folk art toys such as kokeshi dolls inside, and it is said that it is called because it makes a noise when shaken.

In the Yamagata rice crackers, the cats specially made by the Fukushima workshop "Kinomoto Lacquerware Store" are put in, and "Dashiya Nyanko ga Kakurenbo! Karakara Senbei" is placed. It's done!
