Applications for the "21st Stationery Idea Contest" sponsored by Sunstar Stationery will start accepting applications on November 1st.

Wanted, new stationery!
Wanted, new stationery!

The project, which is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, is a "longest-established" contest in the stationery industry that invites the general public for ideas such as "I wish I had such stationery." Successive award-winning works have ideas that have actually been commercialized, and it seems that the recent hit product "Pirit", a new sensation sticky note, was born from the contest.

The theme of this recruitment is "Totoru". It covers a wide range of scenes, such as feelings, thoughts, and relationships with people, as well as keeping things tidy. We are recruiting in two categories, the general category and the junior category for junior high school students and younger. The grand prix in the general category will receive a prize of 1 million yen, and the junior category will receive a gift certificate worth 100,000 yen and a supplementary prize.
