The electrically power assisted bicycle "BESV LX1" will go on sale from Motobello on November 25th. It features excellent driving performance and a design that does not look like an electric power assist.
BESV LX1 is the latest model in the "BESV" series. Although it is electrically assisted, it uses 700 x 35c large diameter tires and is compatible with long-distance driving including commuting.
The biggest feature is the saddle design. Breaking away from the traditional diamond frame, the seatpost and saddle have realized a unique design that is independent.
Another feature is that the battery is a built-in frame type. Including the fact that the motor is built into the rear wheel, it realizes a design that does not seem to be an electric assist at first glance. The battery can be charged for 4.5 hours and can assist up to about 85 kg.
Equipped with a large BESV interface display in the center of the handle. Displays the running speed and mileage. If you attach a smartphone to the handle and link it with the BESV LX1, you can use the smartphone instead of the BESV interface. It will be possible to record the driving history and share the data on SNS, as well as the map function and theft prevention function.
Electric-assisted bicycles for commuting are not yet widely used in Japan. However, in Japan, where there are many slopes, it should be a field with high demand. If the BESV LX1 is successful, more Japanese manufacturers may sell more electrically power assisted bicycles for commuting. I would like to pay attention to the future of BESV LX1.
The price is 398,000 yen (excluding consumption tax). The limited edition "orange" color car costs 418,000 yen (excluding consumption tax).
