XYZ Printing Japan will release the 3D printing pen "Da Vinci 3D Pen" on July 1st. The price is 6,480 yen (tax included).

"Da Vinci 3D Pen"

This product is a pen-type 3D printer that can create 3D objects as if drawing a picture in space. A three-dimensional model can be drawn by ejecting the resin while melting it at the tip with a diameter of 0.8 mm and stacking it. It can also be used to decorate objects output by a 3D printer.

The output filament uses PLA, an eco-friendly material that returns to the soil. It has a relatively low melting point and is easy to handle at home or school (be careful when handling it because the pen tip gets hot).

The main body size is W25 x D28 x H178mm, and the weight is 70g (2.47oz). Comes with 3 color filaments (1m each). A set of 6 color filaments (12m each) will also be on sale.
