"TERRA" is a lawn armchair that grows in the garden. It's both art and a practical chair. Developed by Studio Nucleo based in Turin, Italy.


Studio Nucleo offers a cardboard armchair frame or its pattern. After that, the purchaser will grow the only lawn armchair in the world in his garden with his own hands.


The purchaser assembles cardboard in the garden, sprinkles soil, and sows lawn seeds. After that, continue watering and grow the lawn, and wait for the cardboard frame to be covered with the lawn.






How to use the finished armchair is up to the purchaser. There are many ways to enjoy it, such as sitting alone on the weekends for reading, raising armchairs for a large number of people and having a party.


Studio Nucleo sells "TERRA" through kickstarter. Prices vary by size, with the smallest 45x45x22.5 cm size at 70 euros and the largest park size at 5,000 euros. A separate shipping fee to Japan is required. Shipment is scheduled for October 2016.
