The open call for participants for the "22nd Stationery Idea Contest" sponsored by Sunstar Stationery will begin today (November 1st).

The project is a "oldest stationery industry" contest that invites the general public for ideas such as "I wish I had such stationery ...". Many of the award-winning works have actually been commercialized, such as the new sensation sticky note "Piri-it! ", Perforated paper tape "Zitte", and " Sakura Sakura Pencil".



The 22nd recruitment theme is "ON!". Not only ON, which means adding knowledge and ideas, but also various ON such as warmth, sound, grace, calm, distant, and go.

The application period is until January 31, 2017. We are recruiting in two categories, the general category and the junior category for children under the age of 15 (junior high school students). The grand prix in the general category will receive a prize of 1 million yen, and the junior category will receive a gift certificate worth 100,000 yen and a supplementary prize.
