The author who feels tired from the gastrointestinal tract at the year-end party every day. If you stop by the juice stand as your instinct demands, your juice bill will not be stupid. I decided to do something myself and decided to use a slow juicer that I had been interested in for a long time.
What is a slow juicer?
This time, I used "Hurom Slow Juicer H-AA" released by Hurom in April this year. The feature is that it squeezes the ingredients while compressing them at a low speed of about 40 rotations per minute, and automatically separates the juice and fiber. By squeezing slowly, you can make juice as it is without destroying nutrients such as vitamins and enzymes by frictional heat.
The sound is quiet!
The main body size is W180 x D223 x H407 mm. It's about the size of a general blender. When using it, a cup for pomace and juice is placed, so a little space is required around it.First, set the parts before use.
When you try to put the carrot in, the carrot will be sucked into the slot with a light sound of "snap". Since it rotates slowly, there is no jarring motor noise, and it is considerably more comfortable than a blender.
The juice that comes out is smooth and the color of the carrot itself.
The dry mouth is discharged from the other mouth. I wondered if I could squeeze so much from vegetables, and the amount of juice squeezed was larger than I expected, giving the impression that I had squeezed it thoroughly.
Recommended recipes at this time
Once I got the hang of driving, I challenged the recipe that Hurom recommends in winter. First, make juice using carrots, apples, and ginger.Rinse well and add carrots and apples, which are cut to a thickness of about 1 cm with the skin on. Finally, thinly peel and add ginger sliced to a width of 5 mm to complete.
The resulting juice is insanely sweet without any sugar added! There is no green odor of carrots, and the mouthfeel is smooth and you can drink it.
Next is "Potato Soy Soup," which is made from soy milk squeezed from potatoes and soybeans. It's hungry and helps prevent overeating.
First, boil soybeans and squeeze water to extract soymilk.
Mix the boiled and bite-sized potatoes and soy milk, put them in a juicer again, and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste, and top with crushed almonds, parsley, and olive oil to finish. It's mellow, rich and slightly sweet, so you can drink as much as you want!
Effective use of pomace
Don't forget the pomace that comes out at the same time as the juice. This can be used for cooking such as soups, curries, and cakes, and can also be used as compost for home gardens, so it can be used up to the end without waste.Cleaning is a little difficult
After use, disassemble and wash with water in the same way as the first. Fibers are clogged in the outlets and strainer holes, so a special brush is essential when washing. It might be a little confusing for those who are troublesome to have this wash every time. If you use it in the morning to go to work or see off your child, it may be a good idea to soak it in water and wash it after returning home. Also, be sure to read the instruction manual even if it is troublesome until you get used to assembling parts, lever positions, and precautions for use. It's really a waste if you break it with excessive force because of its complicated structure!
That's why a slow juicer that allows you to fully enjoy the original taste of ingredients. It's a little tricky, but I think it's worth it. If you buy it with all your might, you may have more room in your life and mind.
