"Float Lemon Tea" sold by Mitsuura Brewing Co., Ltd. in Yamaguchi Prefecture is a lemon tea that you can enjoy by floating dried sliced lemons on domestic black tea. That alone is rare enough, but it seems that there is a product called "Lemon Heart" that is sold only in the winter-spring season.


Lemon Heart is currently sold irregularly at the official online shop, and is so popular that it sells out quickly every time. However, I happened to see it at a store the other day, so I bought it.

There are three types of lineup: Tsukigase, Izumo, and Gokase. Each indicates the origin of tea leaves, and all lemons are from Setoda, Hiroshima Prefecture. This time, I chose Izumo, a blended tea from Nishi Tea Factory, a tea farm in Shimane prefecture. The price is 800 yen (excluding tax) in 3 bags per box.


What came out of the bag was a tea bag and a heart-shaped dried lemon! After extracting the black tea, gently float it and you're done. As time goes by, the sourness of the lemon spreads, and you can enjoy a refreshing lemon tea that is as refreshing as a raw lemon.




It's a very nice product, but it's difficult to grow a heart-shaped lemon, so it can't be mass-produced. Lemon tea, which looks and tastes special, is a must-have gift for black tea lovers.
