Stationery maker Pentel has been holding a limited-time cafe bar "GINZA RAKUGAKI Café & Bar by Pentel" since 2014. Despite being in a prime location in Ginza, Tokyo, it is a store with an unusual concept of "freedom to write anywhere in the store".

This year's third business period is from February 4th to March 31st. I also visited in the first year, but it seems that it is getting more powerful, so I took a look at it.

Graffiti factory in the store

The concept this time is "RAKUGAKI FACTORY" . The interior is designed with a factory motif, and you can freely graffiti not only on tables, chairs and walls, but also on research desks and books. There are also devices and photo spots where you can scribble on your face, so even adults can return to their childhood and enjoy themselves!




A paper wall is also available this year, and it will be replaced when it is full. It seems unlikely that there will be no place to draw if you visit at the end.

Realistic stationery menu is fun

There are more than 10 types of menus that interest you, such as those with real product motifs and those that are full of playfulness. It was jointly developed by a female employee of Pentel and the cooking staff of Ginza BEHOUSE Hibiya Bar, and the taste was perfect.

Events such as workshops

A workshop will be held during the period where you can enjoy making original tote bags and felt-tip pens (some programs are already full. See the official website for details). In addition, "Dr. CANVAS", also known as "Rakugaki Laboratory Manager" who can scribble on the whole body, will also appear.


Graffiti in public places can be a problem, but I feel that it's a fun memory if the scribbled furniture remains in my parents' house or if the notebook I drew secretly comes out during class (at that time I was angry).
