"Easter" is a spring festival that is getting more and more exciting every year in Japan. 2017 is a little ahead of April 16th, but the store is already lined with colorful Easter items.

At the import general store "PLAZA", I found "HARIBO" gummy candies for the Easter season only. "Happy Easter," "Gold Bunny," and "Easter Mix" with rabbit designs on the package are on sale.


Happy Easter (669 yen) is an assorted pack of fruit gummies and jelly beans in the shape of an Easter motif. Eggs and rabbits that glitter like toy beads come out from inside. Tiny!



The all-rabbit-shaped gold bunny (399 yen) comes in five flavors: raspberry, lemon, orange, strawberry, and pineapple. The texture is the same as the gold bear, but the slightly humorous expression is fun.



The Easter mix (399 yen) is a fruity flavor of raspberries, lemons, oranges, strawberries, cherries and peaches. The back side is marshmallow, and it has a chewy texture.
