I bought it immediately because I love Liberty print, but I have no plans to write a letter, so I decided to use it as origami. So, this time, I would like to introduce chopstick rests, bookmarks, and butterflies that can be easily made from origami.

Chopstick rest

A chopstick rest that makes the table gorgeous when visiting. It is fashionable to make a lot and put it in a glass jar.

First, prepare a strip of cardboard (8 mm wide and 14 cm long this time) and origami paper that is the same length and about three times as wide.


Stick the origami with a bond so that it wraps around the cardboard.



Once dry, tie it once and tie a knot. Don't pull it too hard, and adjust it little by little.


Fold both ends into the knot and fasten with a bond to complete. It is disposable, but if you apply varnish at the end, you can wash it and use it several times.

Triangular bookmark

A triangular bookmark attached to the corner of the page. Once you remember it, it's easy enough to make it while watching TV! The image is made large for easy understanding, but if you make it about a quarter of the size of ordinary origami, it will be the size that fits the paperback book.

First, fold it so that it has a crease in the cross.



Fold the upper left corner.


Fold the upper half to make a rectangle.


Fold the bottom right corner together.


Fold the right half to the left and put the folded part in your pocket to complete.

butterfly

The last is a spring-like butterfly motif. It's great to stick it on the wall as an interior or to give it as a gift instead of a ribbon. It's easy, so you can make it with your child.

Make a crease in the cross with the origami face up.


Turn it over and make a crease on the diagonal.


Fold it inward to make a triangle.



Fold back the corners at both ends.


Turn it over and raise the whole so that the apex of the triangle slightly protrudes from the opposite side.


Fold the protruding part to the back side.


Turn the whole over and pinch it tightly to complete.
