At the Kintetsu Department Store Uehonmachi store, a special exhibition "Fumiyo Kono Works Exhibition" will be held from April 26th to May 9th. An original painting exhibition that brings together works such as the debut work of writer Fumiyo Kono and the movie "In This Corner of the World".
At the venue, about 200 original drawings and reproductions of Fumiyo Kono, including the manga work that was the original of the animated movie "In This Corner of the World," which won numerous movie awards, will be exhibited. Debut work "Street Corner Flower News", "Town of Evening Calm Cherry Blossoms" which won the Grand Prize in the Manga Division at the Media Arts Festival of the Cultural Agency, "Boorupen Kojiki" which depicts the history of Japan with a romantic picture story, East Japan walking toward reconstruction Popular works such as "Sunbird" drawn from a chicken's point of view will also be introduced.
