The rainy season is finally here again this year. You'll have more opportunities to carry a wet umbrella, but it's quite awkward to get your hands wet when you fold it, or to worry about touching other people on a crowded train.
I found an epoch-making umbrella that solves such a problem. Introducing an umbrella called "CARRY saKASA" sold by Taiwanese umbrella brand "CARRY UMBRELLA".
This time I tried the new model "CARRY saKASA Public Model" released this year. The price is 3,240 yen (tax included, same below), which is more reasonable than the existing model (8,478 yen).

The biggest feature is that it has a "reverse folding" structure that is different from ordinary umbrellas. At first glance, it looks like a polka dot vinyl umbrella, but when you open it, the vinyl side turns inside, making it a simple plain umbrella.

With this special structure, when closed, the rain-wet side is on the inside so your hands won't get wet !

In the closed state, you can stand on your own with just an umbrella. It can be dried in a small space.

Also, since the bones are covered with vinyl fabric inside, it is a nice point that the hair does not get caught.

The total length is 56.5 cm and the weight is 500 g. In addition to blue, there are black and white variations. When you carry it around, the lower part becomes heavy, so it feels a little strange, but it can be opened and closed in a small space, so it is also recommended as an umbrella to keep in the car. A reverse-folding umbrella that seems to solve the long-standing umbrella problem may become commonplace.
