A new format cafe "Books and Coffee Fukurosho Chabo" operated by Doutor Coffee will open in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on June 30th. Books selected by Mr. Kyohei Yanagishita, the representative of the popular bookstore "Kamome Books", and special coffee will be offered.


The concept is “Coffee Meets Books”. Of the approximately 3,000 books lined up in the store, 2,000 for sale are bound with original book covers, and you can enjoy encounters with books by relying on the introductory text and inspiration written on the cover.

The menu offered is the coffee "Owl Blend" developed according to the concept of the store, as well as sweets and light meals. Coffee is carefully siphoned after receiving an order.




The store is located on the 4th floor of Esola Ikebukuro, 1-12-1 Nishiikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo. Business hours are from 10:30 to 22:00 (last order 21:30).
