A new product, "Star Shape," is now available in the 100-yen " Fluffy Thick Panque Hot Cake Mold" introduced earlier in Enuchi. I found it at the 100-yen shop "Ceria" and tried baking it immediately.
The series is a silicone mold that allows you to bake panque dough thick and fluffy. It takes a little longer than usual, but it is a popular item if you can bake a thick cake like a cafe without fail.
The bottom of the mold is very thin, which prevents the dough from flowing and gives it a firm brown color. If you apply a thin coat of oil or butter to the inside in advance, you can take it out cleanly when completed.
You can use a general hot cake mix. Make the dough as indicated and pour it up to the height of the mold handle. Tap the mold lightly, and when the air is removed, put it in a warm frying pan.
Cover and heat on low heat for about 7 minutes while watching the situation. When the mold is fully inflated, turn the mold over and bake on low heat for about 3 minutes.
If you stick the skewer and the damp dough doesn't come, it's done. Burned into a beautiful star shape! !!
In addition, the following are the tips that I personally practice to bake firmly and fluffy to the inside. For your reference.
・ Put mayonnaise in the dough (about 1 tablespoon for 2 people)
・ After warming the frying pan , over low heat・ Close the lid even after turning it over ・ For the second and subsequent times, place the frying pan on a wet cloth and let it cool before baking.
It takes 10 minutes or more at the shortest, depending on the equipment used, so it is recommended to use several molds when baking multiple sheets. If you see it, it's perfect for Christmas, so be sure to get it!
