You can easily pickle "Yukari" flavored vegetables just by cutting them! I tried a product called "Immediately pickled shiso" that I found at the 100-yen shop "Daiso".
This is a powder-type lightly pickled pickle that uses "Yukari" from Mishima Foods, which is sold by Nitto Foods Co., Ltd. It is divided into small portions, and can be easily pickled by simply immersing it in chopped vegetables.
One bag can handle about 80-100g (3.53oz) of vegetables (about one cucumber). Cut the vegetables into a size that is easy to eat, squeeze them in a plastic bag, and put them in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours to complete.
The taste you are interested in is the impression of Japanese-style pickles with a refreshing scent. It has a stronger sweetness and acidity than normal Yukari, but it has a refreshing aftertaste with a modest amount of salt.
