Favorite pasta sauce | 10-15g (0.53oz) |
Since it is based on yogurt, is it safe to put on plenty? Here is a recipe for a simple dip made with drained yogurt.
The two basic ingredients are drained yogurt (100g (3.53oz)) and pasta sauce (10-15g (0.53oz)). Drained yogurt can be handmade or you can use a commercial product such as Morinaga Milk Industry "Parteno". Choose your favorite pasta sauce. This time I chose basil, peperoncino and cod roe.
To make it, just mix the drained yogurt and pasta sauce evenly. Please note that if you add too much pasta sauce, the dip will become too soft. If the taste is not enough, it is recommended to add salt, pepper, grated cheese, etc. to adjust.
Enjoy the finished dip with raw vegetables such as crackers and celery. By combining the saltiness and oil content of the sauce with the acidity of yogurt, the taste is rich but not dull, and is easy to eat. The one I liked the most this time was the one with Peperoncino sauce added. The garlic punch and the spiciness of the chili pepper were effective, and it was crisp and had a lingering taste.
A simple dip recipe that seems to be eaten with raw vegetables. If you have a surplus of pasta sauce at home, why not give it a try?
