Yamato Foods "Remosco"
Three beats of "sour, spicy, delicious"

This year is also my favorite lemon season. Recently, I see many sweets with "Setouchi lemon" flavor that are cultivated mainly in Hiroshima. Did you know that there is a pepper sauce that uses the same lemon?

"Remosco" sold by Yamato Foods is a spicy seasoning that is a blend of Hiroshima lemon juice and skin, vinegar, green pepper, and algae salt. "Remosco RED" using red pepper is also available, and all are 400 yen (excluding tax) with 60g (2.12oz).

I bought it at Seijo Ishii

Remosco has a fresh and refreshing taste due to the crisp spiciness of green pepper and the acidity of lemon. Just a few drops on grilled meat, pasta, or fried chicken will stimulate your appetite.

It's spicy but somehow refreshing

On the other hand, Remosco RED is stimulating with its tingling and sour spiciness. It is recommended for those who like spicy food, such as putting it on pizza like Tabasco and increasing the spiciness of Chinese and Korean food.

Punchy spiciness close to Tabasco

The author who is not good at spicy food is the Remosco school. Please be aware that once you hit the "sour, spicy, and umami" all at once, your brain will become addicted and you will unknowingly hit anything.

I'm going to hang around ...! (Remosco also suits ethnicity)

I haven't tried it this time, but it goes well with Hiroshima's specialty oysters and okonomiyaki. If you put it on a large Hiroshima oyster and eat it for a while ... it looks insanely delicious. Remosco can also be purchased on the official Yamato Foods website, so check it out if you don't have a store nearby!
