Indian snack "Papadam Chips" found in KALDI. I was curious and tried it, and it was delicious, so I will introduce it!

Papadam chips are thin rice crackers made from lentils. Papadam (also known as papad) is a lentil.


There are two flavors, "original" and "sweet chili". It comes in a cylindrical box like Pringles with 70g (2.47oz), and the price is 298 yen (tax included).




First of all, a plain original. The crunchy and firm texture that is lightly baked may be more like rice crackers than potato chips.



As you chew, the chewy and simple flavor of the beans spreads. It's salty and simple, but it has a lingering taste!


Next is sweet chili. It has a reddish and spicy flavor.



The crispy texture is the same as the original. The flavor and sweetness of the beans combine to give it a sweet potato-like taste, with a spicy spiciness. This is also a highly addictive taste!


Of course, it can be used as a snack or snack as it is, or as a topping for salads, soups, curries, etc. The crispy texture seems to be a nice accent!
